Yini (pronounced Jeanie) is a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Practitioner of Ortho-Bionomy® by the Society of Ortho-Bionomy, International®. Originally a native of Caracas, Venezuela, Yini earned an Industrial Engineering degree and practiced for more than 15 years. In 1996 she moved to the United States of America, looking for more stability. She often massaged her husband’s back, as he was complaining of severe back pain. One day decided to research local schools of massage to learn techniques that would help ease the pain. And soon her journey in bodywork began. She became a licensed massage therapist in 1997 and also completed an MBA at Lynn University. She worked days in the financial industry. On nights and weekends she provided deep tissue and neuro-muscular/sports massage in spas and doctors offices. Her goal was to help bring positive change to her clients’ bodies and increase their knowledge about the benefits of bodywork. She is a Certified Practitioner of Ortho-Bionomy with over 1,000 hours of training in this modality. You can find her listed in The Society of Ortho-Bionomy.
