William Palmer

Chiropractor

William Palmer graduated from Stetson University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biochemistry. In addition to his undergraduate education, Dr. Palmer completed certification as an Emergency Medical Technician in the State of Florida and subsequently worked on the county trauma team at Halifax Hospital and for EVAC ambulances as an EMT during. Dr. Palmer attended Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine, which is consistently rated as one of the best Chinese medicine schools in the country. Upon completion of the four academic year program, Dr. Palmer was awarded concurrent degrees of Bachelors in Health Science and a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. After a period in private practice, Dr. Palmer continued his education at Palmer College of Chiropractic, the founding school of Chiropractic. After another four academic year program, he completed his Doctor of Chiropractic and was honored with the Virgil V. Strange Philosophy award. Additionally, Dr. Palmer earned his Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, which is the highest level of certification of the profession and is licensed as an Acupuncture Physician and a Doctor of Chiropractic in Florida. Dr. Palmer holds certifications in the Webster technique and in the Grostic procedure. He completed additional Chinese medical training through a yearlong certification program in Hunyuan Medicine in 2013, which emphasizes the treatment of difficult to treat conditions and fertility issues utilizing Chinese herbs. With over twelve years of medical experience, Dr. Palmer has had the opportunity to treat a wide variety of conditions from which patients may suffer. His mission is to restore health through natural methods, chiefly chiropractic and Chinese medicine, thereby allowing patients to live their lives to the fullest. A Florida resident since 1996, Dr. Palmer has resided in Winter Park since 2011 with his wife Ann Marie. They were blessed in May of 2015 with their first child, Sebastian. They have been thankful for the opportunity to build a life in the greater Winter Park community.
