Vera Stewart-Lutz

Clinical Hypnotherapist

I spent 25 years as a Trainer, Leader, and Business Analyst in Corporate America. And then along came the worst year of my life. In 2015, I became severely ill and spent a year on disability, bouncing between hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and home health care. After four surgeries, 23 CT Scans, and 17 blood transfusions, among other things, I was well-acquainted with the pain, nausea, fatigue, and general misery of poor health. However, the worst year of my life became the most pivotal year of my life! Once I returned to health and vitality, I knew that rather than return to the corporate world, I was compelled to seek a more purposeful life , one where I could be part of the solution for those experiencing similar medical challenges. While researching hypnosis, I discovered all the ways that hypnosis could have eased my medical journey; from reduction of pain, nausea, and high anxiety over diagnostic testing to something as simple as helping me sleep better. I was intrigued enough that I decided to investigate further, and paid a visit to a local school that teaches hypnosis. After a tour of the campus, I was offered an opportunity to attend the first class of a new session starting the next night. Of course I jumped at the opportunity, and found myself in class the following evening. I was hooked after the first 30 minutes! The next day I registered for the class, and kept right on going…..I knew that I had found my purpose – helping people through hypnosis and guided imagery! I am a graduate of the Clinical Hypnotherapy Practitioner program at the award-winning Southwest Institute of Healing Arts. I look forward to helping you with your life challenges.
