Su-Jung, founder of Truing Holistic, is a nationally board certified Acupuncturist/Herbalist & independent teacher of Vedic Meditation based in Brooklyn, though happy to teach anywhere worldwide.
She completed her training with the Vedic Meditation Initiator Training Program in the foothills of the Himalayas with Thom Knoles, Maharishi Vyasananda Saraswati, the pre-eminent master teacher of Vedic Meditation. Upon graduation, the she received blessings and was officially inducted into the Shankaracharya Tradition of Vedic teachers by the Supreme Authority of Vedic Knowledge in the Shankaracharya tradition, Shri Shri 1008 Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri.
With a Master of Fine Art from Tufts University and School of Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in New York, she brings a holistic approach to supporting health and teaching Vedic Meditation with the intention to empower people to find greater happiness and fulfillment from within.
She believes that teaching people to become self-sufficient, happy & healthy, is her contribution to a more sustainable and peaceful world.
Su-Jung grew up in Asia, Europe, the Middle East before moving to the United States.
She brings her unique perspective from diverse experience into her teaching and work with patients. She has studied with many leaders in their fields (see specializations) and her clinical experience in New York City includes VA Hospital in Manhattan, NYU Langone’s Initiative for Women with Disabilities and Lutheran Medical Center (now NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn), as well as, private practice and Bed Sty Acupuncture community-style acupuncture.
Internationally, she worked with the Healer2Healer program in Guatemala working in a free pop-up clinic for local indigenous communities.
After many years in private practice, during the pandemic, she joined the team at the Yinova Center to support women’s health and fertility. She is passionate about helping people realize their greatest potential in health and happiness through the wisdom of ancient medicine rooted in Vedic Knowledge.

Su-Jung is nationally certified by NCCAOM in Acupuncturist and Herbal Medicine.
She received her Master of Science (MSTOM) from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York and
explored specializations through her personal studies with Dr. Wang Ju-Yi (Bejing), Lonny Jarrett, Lillian Bridges, and
Mazin Al-Kafaji.
