Holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received her Bachelors Degree in Human Nutrition and Food Sciences from the University of Florida. She is both a registered (RD) and licensed dietician(LD), and she is a certified clinical nutritionist(CCN). She is currently a professor at Florida Atlantic University teaching nutrition to future students in the medical field. Her specialties include but or not limited to: Functional medicine nutrition, auto-immune/inflammatory conditions, blood sugar management, metabolic syndrome and insulin resistance, cholesterol and triglyceride management, blood pressure, overweight, sports nutrition, pregnancy, osteoporosis, menopausal related issues, digestive disorders, gluten sensitivity, food allergies and food sensitivity testing, professional quality supplement recommendations.
