Norma Redhouse

Massage and Bodywork Therapist

Licensed in two states, Norma started her career in North Carolina more than 18 years ago, training at the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy (now Southeastern Institute). On graduating, lead instructor and school owner Michael Elkins took Norma into his private practice for further mentoring in Neuromuscular Therapy. During this time, Norma worked on a wide variety of clients, from office workers to every sort of professional and amateur athlete. After many years of helping people with structural bodywork, Norma decided to pursue further training to address the energetic and psychological components of how people hold tissue dysfunction in their bodies. To that end, she completed two separate 3-year programs, one in energetic bodywork, and the other in attachment theory and boundaries. Norma’s work is further informed by her history with dance, yoga, and equine-assisted learning.
