Thank you for choosing Pursuit of Vitality for your pursuit of feeling good. My name is Norabell but you can call me Nora, I am honored to be your therapist. My goal is to provide you with the best care to support your needs, wants, and goals. Ultimately you are the true healer, I am simply the facilitator of the art that speaks to your inner wisdom. Since this is your first time visiting me I would like to give you some information about my services and policies. My Scope of Practice and Training I have certificate training in Reflexology, Craniosacral therapy, Access Consciousness, and Jin Shin, all of which are integrative, gentle therapies that can assist the body’s natural ability to heal. I do not diagnose or treat disease and I am not a physician. These sessions are not substitute for diagnosis or treatment from a qualified health practitioner for illnesses, injuries or other medical conditions. My services are not licensed by the State of Colorado. I received my Reflexology certificate training from Front Range Community College and have been practicing the art since 2017. I am a level 2 High Touch Jin Shin since 2017. I have recently completed level 1 Craniosacral therapy and will be completing 3 additional levels of training by 2019. I have also been trained in Access Consciousness and I have an Associates of Arts from Aims with a focus in Psychology. Basic Definition of Reflexology, Craniosacral Therapy, High Touch Jin Shin, and Access Bars Reflexology is a science based on the premise that there are zones and reflex areas in the feet and hands which correspond to all glands, organs, parts and systems of the body. The physical act of applying pressure using thumb, finger and hand techniques to these reflex areas results in the reduction of stress which promotes physiological changes in the body. Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. Using a soft touch which is generally no greater than 5 grams – about the weight of a nickel – practitioners release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it’s effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction. High Touch Jin Shin is a Japanese technique that has its roots in acupressure. It is a very powerful self-healing technique that can be learned and practiced by anyone; adults, children and the elderly. Jin Shin uses 26 energy points on the body. When they are hold, they release energy blockages and harmonize the energy flow within the body. Access Consciousness is a therapy where the trained practitioner touches 32 points on your head which dissipates the electromagnetic charge that gets locked in our brains by the thoughts, feelings and emotions that we have stored over lifetimes. Reflexology, Craniosacral, Access Bars and Jin Shin are non-invasive energetic techniques, and currently have no known side effects. My mission is to serve children struggling with mental, physical, and emotional imbalances. The steps in the program designed for the whole child in mind. My goal is to empower and inspire children through a holistic approach to pursuing their individual needs.
