Matthew Katcher

Acupuncturist
I got into this field because of a car accident which involved me, a car, and a concrete divider. The doctors said that pain killers plus surgery was my best route, and the alternative health community gave me another option, for which I was grateful. Massage got me well. I also went to PT and saw a chiropractor. I wound up not needing the surgery, and that’s when I started earning my massage therapy degree. Later, while I was earning my Masters degree at the NY College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the neurological deficiencies in my arms and legs from the accident, which I had been told would probably be with me for the rest of my life, were resolved through acupuncture. With 18 years as a massage therapist and 8 years as an acupuncturist, I’m able to get to the root cause of your symptoms and pain, and help your body to heal itself.
