Magdalena DiZebba

Acupuncturist

Magdalena grew up not far from Annapolis in Calvert County. She loves practicing in Annapolis as it has always been one of her favorite places. When not at work she can be found reading, meditating and spending time with family and friends.

Magdalena holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology, a Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics and a Master of Acupuncture Degree, as well as a Diplomate of Acupuncture from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine(NCCAOM). She is also certified in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and is a certified Acupuncture Detox Specialist.

Prior to becoming a licensed acupuncturist, Magdalena spent ten years in patient care providing prosthetics and orthotics to patients of all ages ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics for various medical conditions. Magdalena draws from her experience with patient care and knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics when evaluating and treating patients. She combines her Western knowledge with Chinese Medicine to provide healing on a body, mind and spirit level.

Though Magdalena has received acupuncture for various aches and pains, her main reason was for stress and anxiety reduction…“I was so relaxed and calm after treatment and amazed by the body awareness I developed around my stress/anxiety triggers. I also began meditation and mindful practices. Stressors are inevitable in life but I don’t have to feel stressed or anxious, I can change my internal response to my external environment”.

As an acupuncturist, she is excited about empowering others on their unique health and wellness journey!
