Thank you for dropping into my world that has included Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Akashic Acupuncture. I view life from a Taoist perspective of living in harmony with paradox, the seasons, and the cycles of change. I also take an Akashic viewpoint where I believe the soul is eternal, we live many lifetimes, and that everything evolves out of a greater consciousness. I can think life is a divine crapshoot except for the frequent synchronicities that appear like magic to show me there’s something bigger going on in the vast field of consciousness that permeates all of life. I see each individual as a multidimensional universe striving for meaning and wholeness. I also think that we take ourselves far too seriously—I should know being a Scorpio! However, I have found grace in humor and joy in crazy wisdom. My greatest allies have been found in Nature and her flora and fauna. I have been practicing TCM for 30 years and reading the Akashic Records, that I refer to as “Akashic Field Medicine”, for 23 years. For the past 19 years I lived and practiced in Tucson, AZ; having practiced 10 years in Port Townsend, WA, and receiving my training and OMD (doctorate in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture) in Orange County, CA, and Beijing, China. I was one of the co-founders, with my Scorpio-composer husband, Alex Holland , of the Asian Institute of Medical Studies that has merged with the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine,where Alex has been president. I officially closed my practice in Tucson on March 1, 2019. By the end of April, Alex and I had sold our beloved townhome, liquidated most of our belongings and moved with our two cats, Corky and BooBoo, to Ajijic, Lake Chapala, Mexico, just south of Guadalajara. It has been a trial-by-fire journey getting to el otro lado—the other side of the wall—but we made it and are adjusting to the marvels and challenges of navigating a different culture and language. As a planetary citizen nearing my seventh decade of life, I am more committed than ever to explore and feel the breadth and depth of existence and experience the wondrous surprises that exist around every corner and behind each doorway. I offer selective healing work and Akashic readings locally as well as by Skype, that can include astrological insights. Meanwhile, I will continue to record our adventures in “gringolandia” via my blog above, so please stay tuned and in touch! This being human is an awesome and taxing journey! It takes Qi/energy to maintain balance between fluctuations of dark and light, Yin and Yang. We have the opportunity daily to infuse more lightness into our lives through humor, curiosity and wonder. And now we get to tend with being in the Underworld due Covid-19, where we are being initiated into the new world ahead of us. We can’t imagine what that will be yet, except that we must make a pact with our Mother, Gaia, to take care of her so that she can take care of us. There is no separation. So, may we die laughing, whenever and however we are called, after having lived a blessed, bountiful life; and may we rejoice in the great mysteries of spaceship Earth and beyond!
