Katherine G. Yannucci

Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist

Katherine is a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist, Chopra MBZ Yoga Teacher, E-RYT 500, and a Master Reiki Practitioner. She is a member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) and Yoga Alliance. She is also a lifelong learner of holistic health modalities who loves to share what she has learned with her clients, friends and family. She began her yoga journey in the fall of 2000 at the Dharma Yoga Center in New York City after being diagnosed with hyperthyroid. While working full-time as a Fashion Designer, she started practicing yoga twice a week in order to counteract the symptoms of her thyroid condition. In January 2004, Kathy’s love for yoga led her to enroll in a teacher-training course in Miami, Florida where she first learned about the beautiful science of Ayurveda and how it supported the practice of yoga. Katherine taught at local studios and spas in Miami, while also implementing “Yoga for Lunch” into the corporate world. In addition, she taught private clients at their homes and businesses and owned a Yoga and Wellness Center. Katherine loves to teach and empower women to take control of their health with a holistic approach based on the ancient practice of Ayurveda. Through her online and local programs, she teaches how to use Ayurveda to maintain wellness, prevent illness and restore health of the mind, body and spirit. Katherine has trained with Sarah Powers, Gary Kraftsow, Rodney Yee, Paul Grilley, Cyndi Lee, and many others. Her fluid yoga style is sometimes referred to as a “dance”, as she links one pose to the next with each breath. Kathy’s continuing studies and personal health experiences with Yoga, Reiki, Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda, have led her to teach in a way that blends all of these practices. She lives in Orlando, Florida with her family, loves the beach, nature, walking, yoga, traveling, eating food made with LOVE, and all things wellness!
