Jennifer A. House

Acupuncturist

Dr. Jennifer House provides compassionate healthcare and wellness education that inspires patients to be their most vibrant selves. Recently science has determined that human beings are complex bioelectric systems. Acupuncture can specifically tap into the electro-dynamic field of an individual, therefore treating the body, mind, and soul. Heal the soul first, then healing of the body and mind will follow. Dr. House’s approach can be summarized with the words of Dr. Eugene Higgins, Professor Physics at Yale University, “Of all the known forces it is only electro-magnetic or electro-dynamic fields which can act as signposts to direct continuous chemical, metabolic, or molecular transformations in the system—-fields which, in fact, appear to underwrite the development of structure even prior to any known chemical reactions.” When the body, mind, and spirit is balanced true healing can occur. The body has an innate ability to heal itself. Jennifer A. House DOM is nationally certified by the NCCAOM in acupuncture and herbal medicine. Dr. House is also certified in homeopathy injection therapy and NADA (National Acupuncture Detox Association). She has had additional training in fertility and neuroscience. In addition, she is a certified Quantum Energetic Disciplines practitioner founded by the prominent sought after healer Jo Dunning. Dr. House has a strong belief in psychoneuroimmunology and the power of the body to heal itself. Most diseases arise from stress or emotions. For instance, a sore throat is holding in angry words, feeling unable to express one’s self. As the famous saying goes, “If you don’t deal with it mentally it will attack you physically”. In addition to TCM, the quick pulse (quantum energy healing) is used to facilitate healing and to discover the root cause of the dis-ease. If the energy blocks are removed the Qi can flow smoothly through the body and strengthen the vital force. Once the vital force returns to the body, then true healing can occur. Upon completing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1996, Dr. House worked in various areas of healthcare including substance abuse, mental health, and assisting physical and occupational therapists. She spent many years working with children with autism, down’s syndrome, and cerebral palsy. In 1999, she interned at Quan Yin in San Francisco, a non for profit holistic healing center that mainly treats HIV positive patients. This led to her fascination of Chinese Medicine. In 2003, she obtained a bachelor’s in health science and a master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine. She has 15 years of experience treating patients in South Florida.
