Dr. Shelly Dranko

Chiropractor

Dr. Shelly Dranko is a chiropractor based in Wake Forest, North Carolina. She completed her Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree and Acupuncture certification at the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL in 1985. While studying at National, Dr. Dranko was the President of her graduating class and Vice President of the professional fraternity Chi Rho Sigma. Prior to attending National, she pursued undergraduate studies at California State College in California, PA.

Dr. Dranko furthered her studies in acupuncture with advanced training at the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital in Sri Lanka, where she earned a Doctor of Oriental Medicine degree (DOM). She has also completed additional training with respected experts like Dr. Ralph Alan Dale, Dr. Richard Yennie, and The International Academy of Medical Acupuncture, and is recognized as a Fellow of the American Society of Acupuncture.

Dr. Dranko is a graduate of the American Functional Neurology Institute and has earned certification in Neurofeedback from the same institution. She has advanced training in Neurofeedback Neuro-Integration Training with Dr. Jeremy Martin and Dr. Richard Soutar. Dr. Dranko specializes in metabolic testing and treatment protocols to help patients manage chronic conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Migraines, Hyper/Hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s, Peripheral Neuropathy, Vertigo, Autoimmunity, Diabetes, Insomnia, Concussions, and Childhood Development Disorders.

Dr. Dranko has taught at several institutions around the world, including the International Neurological Institute, the Giron Medical College in Havana, Cuba, and the Medicina Alternativa and the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital in Columbo, Sri Lanka. She has also been a speaker for the Medical, Chiropractic and Legal Symposium in Fort Myers, FL, and an instructor for the continuing education of Florida Pharmacists.
