Dr. Kiera Lane, N.M.D., MSAc., LAc., Dipl.Ac, FABORM, director of Arizona Natural Medicine ®, is an Arizona Board-Certified and Licensed Naturopathic Medical Doctor and Acupuncturist who received her medical training from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and graduated valedictorian with a 4-year Masters degree in Acupuncture from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture (PIHMA). In addition, Dr. Lane earned a Bachelors of Science in Dietetics (Clinical Nutrition) from Arizona State University. She is a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (FABORM). She began her health care career in the field of dietetics and clinical nutrition where she worked in a clinical hospital setting, as a research assistant for a large university and was featured as a contributing author of health related articles for a prominent web based fitness company. She served as a research assistant while attending Arizona State University as well as serving on the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine & Health Sciences Research Committee while attending medical school. She was inspired to become a Naturopathic Medical Doctor after she developed tendonitis as a cello performance major in her first two years of college and her experience led her to seek integrative therapies and alternatives to traditional medicine that could not help her. “I wanted to practice a type of medicine I believed in and that I would choose for myself”. Dr. Lane was further motivated to become a Naturopathic Physician due to the growing research and efficacy of natural medicines, nutritional research, functional medicine, and integrative approach to healing that offered a way to address the root cause of disease. She has been in private practice as a physician for about two decades. Dr. Lane has been working with women, men and couples to enhance natural fertility and create tools to strengthen IUI and IVF outcomes for over 19 years. She is a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM). ABORM was formed by leading professionals In Oriental Medicine to recognize the need for training, education and advancement of knowledge and expertise in the area of Reproductive Health. To become a fellow, a licensed acupuncturist must have on-going expert training and knowledge in the area of reproductive health and pass an extensive exam testing their knowledge in this specialty area of both Western reproductive technologies and Oriental Reproductive Medicine. Those who are granted certification become a fellow of ABORM and are considered and recognized as experts in the area of Reproductive Health. Dr. Lane is one of a handful of practitioners in Arizona to become a fellow of ABORM. Dr. Lane is passionate about helping women conceive naturally, as well as, in cooperation with assisted reproductive technology (ART) and in vitro fertilization (IVF). In addition to her medical degree, Dr. Lane has specialized training in the field of acupuncture. Ac.) which is awarded by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). In addition, Dr. Lane is certified in Advanced Constitutional Facial Acupuncture Renewal™, a non-invasive approach to facial renewal. Her valuable training in facial renewal combined with her expertise in integrative therapies led to the creation of The Arizona Natural Medicine Method ™ which utilizes a multi-phasic system to reduce fine lines and fight signs of aging. Dr. Lane has received on-going advanced post-medical training in the specialty of homeopathy under the tutelage and mentorship of the internationally esteemed Dr. Sunirmal Sarkar, M.D. (Hom.), World Health Organization Fellow – USA attached with the National Institute of Homeopathy of Kolkata, India for the past 19 years. In addition, she has received post-medical training in the field of integrative health care for women.
