Dr. Kathy Roth Pizzella (Dr. Roth) is the director of Health Horizons and has been part of the team for over 22 years.  She is a summa cum laude graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA and completed her pre-chiropractic education at Penn State University.

Her passion lies in assisting others in achieving optimum function through chiropractic and natural healing.  She is certified in the Webster Technique, used on pregnant women to assist with better baby position and birth outcomes, and works closely with many local midwives, doulas and child birth professionals.  She holds advanced certification in prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care through the ICPA, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Additionally, she has expertise in Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) as well as Cranial and TMJ adjusting.

After a traumatic neck injury in 2016, she discovered the incredible benefits of Atlas Orthogonal (AO) chiropractic technique.  She began studying Atlas Orthogonal and incorporated the technique at Health Horizons in April of 2021.  She has since been getting amazing results with specific upper cervical care.  She enjoys the outdoors, yoga and spending time with her husband, Justin, and children, Kristopher and Lia. Both of her children were born at home and have been adjusted since birth.
