Dr. Jerrel Hardison

Chiropractor

– Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.)
– Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medicine
– McCandless

Dr. Hardison attended the University of Pittsburgh, earning his Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medicine. During his undergraduate career, he practiced as a nationally and state-registered paramedic. Over this period, he repeatedly witnessed the inadvertent failure of the healthcare system to appropriately direct and manage chronic pain patients. This led him to seek out further education in a field that was more patient-centered, better equipped to help these individuals, and able to provide exactly what was necessary, be it chiropractic care or a referral to the most appropriate provider.

He completed his chiropractic education at Logan University in St. Louis, where he became proficient in many different techniques such as sacral occipital technique, gonstead, and craniosacral technique. He is also certified in selective functional movement assessments and likes to incorporate some functional medicine approaches into his patient management strategies. During his time at Logan, he worked in various sports-oriented clinics as well as underserved areas of the St. Louis community. This taught him not only how to work well with athletes of all types and ages, but also how to manage complex neuromusculoskeletal cases. He is a firm believer in addressing a patient’s outlook on their own health and empowering them to be a part of their own healthcare team to improve outcomes.

Dr. Hardison lives in Canonsburg and in his free time likes to lift weights and do HIIT workouts. He also loves to teach, going to the movies, and exploring new cities, foods, and different cultures.
