Acupuncture Physician

Since beginning her career as a Registered Nurse in 1977, Jane has always been interested in working with others in promoting health. In her 33 years working in the operating room, her thoughts were frequently on the many factors which may have caused someone to need to consider surgery and on how they could have possibly avoided it. This, combined with the loss of a family member to cancer, prompted her to start learning different modalities in Alternative Health.

A certification in Healing Touch (working with the body’s energy fields, similar to Reiki) led to other explorations, and soon after obtaining a BS in Alternative Medicine in 2010, she learned about 5-Element acupuncture, and immediately knew this medicine was the way in which she could provide a pathway to wellbeing and health for everyone.

Graduating from The Academy For Five Element Acupuncture in Gainesville, Fl, (one of only 3 schools in the US teaching solely the Five Element Tradition), in 2014 with a Masters in Acupuncture and a Certificate of Herbal Studies, Jane is happy to bring this deep and meaningful form of Acupuncture to the Tampa Bay Area. Warm Sea Acupuncture also maintains a comprehensive Chinese Herbal Pharmacy.
