Dr. Gorlesky grew up in Savannah, Georgia enjoying its rich colonial history and unique culture. His college education was interrupted by four years of service in the US Army volunteering for two tours in South Vietnam and fourteen months in Germany. His time in Germany was to fully recover from the injuries he sustained during his first tour. At the end of his second tour he returned stateside and while waiting in the airport heard the TV report that Armstrong had walked on the Moon. Returning to college and civilian life he went through years of VA care that allowed his low back to progressively deteriorate and was repeatedly given the recommendation for surgery.

After graduating from Armstrong State University with a degree in Biology and Chemistry, He enrolled at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, graduating in 1978 with honors with his Doctorate. Dr. Jack Gorlesky’s education has continued and he is now is a graduate of the American Functional Neurology Institute (AFNI) and has also become Certified in Neurofeedback through AFNI. He has been certified in Energetic Acupuncture by the Acupuncture Society of America. He regularly attends post-graduate educational seminars on topics such as Regenerative Medicine procedure to restore the body. He loves treating patient’s with chronic health conditions and being able to restore their quality of life.

After doing forty years in practice and retiring as a chiropractor he now works in an integrated practice ‘Carolina Regenerative Health’ with Dr Wade, MD, Jennylle Zanzi NP, and his wife Dr Dranko. His new goal is being able to work another forty years thanks to the techniques of regenerative medicine restoring and keeping his body in optimal health. Dr. Gorlesky enjoys living an active lifestyle with his partner Dr. Shelly Dranko. He likes spending time with his three sons and two grandsons when not traveling.
