Dr. Barak Meraz, a Chiropractor at Carpe Diem Chiropractic in  Fort Lauderdale and Plantation Florida, who first experienced the healing power of chiropractic care in high school as a year-round athlete. At the age of 14, Dr. Meraz accompanied his father to his father’s chiropractic appointment and instantly fell in love with the chiropractic philosophy, art, and science.

A native Long Islander from New York, Dr. Meraz graduated Cum Laude from Life University in Marietta, Georgia where he studied the art, philosophy, and science of chiropractic. After graduating, Dr. Meraz remained in Georgia to learn firsthand at one of the most thriving offices in the country that was part of an organization that became the official Olympic Wellness Advisers. In addition, Dr. Meraz developed and shared his chiropractic skill to heal with local high-school sports teams in wrestling, soccer, and football.

In 2009, Dr. Meraz returned to New York City and continued his chiropractic expertise throughout Queens and Long Island before joining a wellness center in the upper west side of Manhattan.

Fast forward to 2014 where Dr. Meraz made his dream a reality and opened his own chiropractic office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
