Acupuncturist

Daniel Fielder, LAc., MAcOM is a graduate from the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ASAOM) in Tucson, Arizona. He has completed his Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM) and has Certifications in Asian Bodywork Therapy/ Tuina (Cert. A.B.T./Tuina), Clean Needle Technique Certification (CCAOM) and CPR. Daniel has attended lectures and completed workshops in stroke and internal diseases Dr. Shi Xue Min, (“9000 Needles” documentary from Tianjin China), facial/body rejuvenation with Dr. Martha Lucas (Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture System), and cancer support with Jeffery Yuen (Jade Purity Foundation). He has been practicing Internal Martial Arts since 1999. (CCAOM) and CPR. He is a member of the Acupuncture Society of New York (ASNY).

Daniel has a bachelor degree in English and Fine Arts from Texas A&M University. He has a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the University of Delaware, where he also trained in the study of human anatomy and dissection. This experience became a catalyst in his lifelong pursuit of understanding psychological as well as physical scaring and healing, advanced healing through touch therapies and understanding trauma. His art explores the juxtaposition of painting and the human body. “I did not really begin to unravel the depth of my life until I began breaking apart the pristine surface that I once painted on with a careful hand. This experience was a catalyst into understanding the process of healing.”
