Dr. Kelly Austin

Chiropractor

My name is Dr. Kelly Austin. I am an empathic body healer, who uses myofascial release, chiropractic care, homeopathy, and flower essences as my tools to help someone reach their full potential with their health.

When someone comes to see me for the first time, I listen to their story. While listening to their story, I get little downloads about what or where the issue or issues may stem from. From there I evaluate the patient’s range of motion, soft tissue mobility, strength, and flexibility. I usually make the best treatment recommendation from the patient’s type of issue.

I have been a licensed physical therapist for over 30 years. I graduated from the University of Lowell, Lowell, MA in 1985. In my early years of physical therapy, I studied under John F. Barnes for myofascial release. Myofascial release has allowed me to grow my intuitive abilities. I practiced physical therapy for 10 years before deciding to go to chiropractic school. A back injury led me to chiropractic care and I decided it was something I wanted to learn. I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, IA in 1998. From there I moved to Phoenix, AZ. I practiced physical therapy and chiropractic care in Arizona for almost 15 years before deciding to move back to Massachusetts in 2013. In 2015, I started practicing chiropractic in East Bridgewater, MA. In 2022, my office moved to Hanover, MA.

In 2017, I had a severe reaction to an antibiotic that sent me to the emergency room. I decided I needed to find a way to not have to take an antibiotic again if I do not have to. Within a week I found Baylight Center for Homeopathy in Portland, ME, they were offering a program called Homeopathic First Aid and Acute Care. I graduated from this program in June 2018. I have decided to pursue getting certified in Homeopathy. In June of 2020, Baylight Center of Homeopathy closed its doors. I transferred to the Academy of Homeopathy Education. I will finish with classes in June 2022 and my clinic hours sometime this summer.
