My story: Have you ever found yourself at a fork in the road? That is exactly where I found myself in 2010 after meeting Donna Eden at a work shop in Kansas City. I knew that I knew I was supposed to become a certified Energy Medicine Practitioner. But… how??? That was my big question. I did not have the funds! In 2011 the way opened up and I started on this fantastic journey, still oblivious to the impact it was to have on my life. I continued year after year, learning more, taking the next class, the next step. Before I knew it, I found myself near the completion of year 3 as a clinical practitioner and certified to teach introductory energy medicine courses and ready to jump into certifying to teach Fundamentals of Eden Energy Medicine. LIFE was GOOD. I was on top of the world in both my traditional construction business and my Energy Medicine studies and Practice. Then the day arrived, the one we think will never happen, at least not to us. My life changed in a moment on the morning of April 17, 2014. I fell from a 15’ scaffold to concrete. The scaffold collapsed. I should be dead! But God was not finished with me yet. Which brings me back to the fork in the road, the one that tugged at my heart, whispered “take this path”. That choice proved to be my life line. The only thing I remember is asking my husband to “call Carla and tell her I need her”. We, Carla and I, had become fast friends over the last three years of studying energy medicine together. Carla proved to be my Angel. She dropped everything, drove from Chicago and spent the next three days by my side in ICU. She used techniques we had learned over the three years to restore balance to my body. Results: I had bleeding on the brain and a black and blue face. The bleeding stopped and my face was yellow in 24 hours. The doctors response: “You are on lucky girl” I had a very broken body, hairline fractures thru my face, multiple broken ribs, dislocation of little finger thru the center of my hand, pelvic breaks in two places, broken femur below the hip, fracture of the sacrum, and broken ankle. Needless to say, I was on heavy pain meds. On day two or three in ICU Carla and Geoff, my husband, traded turns administering a pain drain technique. This led to 8 hours without using any pain meds. The RN’s were in disbelief, once they determined the machine was functioning properly. “That is impossible!!, no one in her condition can go without pain meds. What are you doing?” ​ I wish I could say I healed overnight. Alas, it was a journey. One of many miracles. Three major surgeries, including re-breaking my pelvic bone and a complete hip replacement. Thank GOD for modern medicine and Dr. Tilley, who, in my opinion, is the best Orthopod in Kansas City. It took 1 ½ years to walk normally. HOWEVER, unless you knew about my accident, you would never know I was broken. Because today I am whole in body, mind, and spirit! ​ ​Energy is the Medicine, focuses on Inner Chi.
