Sara Diaz

Acupuncture Physician

Dr. Sara Diaz was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico and has resided in the U.S.A. since the year 2000. She began her Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine studies at the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) in Newton, Massachusetts, where she completed her first academic year, and graduated from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine (FCIM) in Orlando, Florida. In addition, Dr. Sara completed an internship in China where she learned advanced techniques not traditionally taught in the U.S.A. Aside from Acupuncture, Dr. Sara is certified in Acupuncture Injection Therapy and has further her education through studies with Dr. Richard Tan, world renown Master of the Balance Method; Dr. Brandt Stickley, instructor of Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis (developed by Dr. Leon Hammer) and in February of 2012 received her certification in Sports Medicine Acupuncture® (developed and taught by it’s founder Matt Callison, M.S., L.Ac.). Dr. Sara, has a B.A. in Public Communication from the University of Puerto Rico, a M.A. in Public Relations from the University of the Sacred Heart in Santurce, Puerto Rico. Later on she graduated with honors from FCIM with a B.S. in Public Health and an M.S. in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. At In2 Health, Inc, although we do offer same-day appointments when available, we encourage making appointments as far in advance as possible, as Dr. Sara shares office space with Jere Proctor, AP., and Peggy Snead, RN, LMT.
