Dr. Michael Weiner

“A herniated disc may have been the best thing that happened to me” Dr. Michael Weiner says with a smile on his face. It all started when he was 10 years old. He had a herniated disc. He was bedridden for 3 months – but felt like he was trapped for an eternity. He couldn’t move. He never knew if he would get better.

“Only you are in control of your life.“

It was at this point he had two options: get surgery as a child stuck with hardware in his spine for the rest of his life, or receive regular chiropractic adjustments to let his body heal itself. Fortunately for him, his father is a chiropractor and not only did he heal naturally by regular chiropractic adjustments, he became a three sport athlete throughout high school and continues to be active, run trails, hike, and paddle board down the Chattahoochee river on the weekends.

“Having a herniated disc proved to myself that no one is controlled by a diagnosis – only you are in control of your life. It is this passion that motivates me to let each person reach their true potential for optimal health for a lifetime.”

Because of Dr. Michael Weiner’s past, he knows what it is like to have everything taken away in regards to health. On the flip side, he also knows that anything is possible through getting true spinal corrective care. Dr. Michael Weiner regularly gets adjusted and does spinal corrective care himself. Nothing should hold you back – no matter the “stamp” of diagnosis handed to you.

Dr. Michael Weiner has a passion for helping families thrive together. He thinks of a family as a team. If one family member is not thriving to their full health potential, it affects everyone. This is why Optimal Spine and Body focuses on family care. In addition, he vows to help as many adolescent athletes as possible. He never wants any child to experience what he went through.

Dr. Michael Weiner graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a major of Kinesiology – Movement Science in 2013 and immediately enrolled into Life Chiropractic College where he received a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2017 as cum laude in both institutions. He is certified in Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP), the most evidence based natural spinal corrective technique in chiropractic. He currently has 2 peer reviewed case studies published in the medical index with a desire to continue that number to help influence healthcare towards a more conservative, drug less approach.

Dr. Michael Weiner is happily married with one son and two dogs that he loves dearly: a black lab mix and a terrier mix. He is a resident of Alpharetta and absolutely loves the greater Atlanta area.
